F12 Configuration Menu
F12 configurations are application Central configurations that are present across all screens of Tally ERP 9. This configuration can be changed and managed any number of times to suit changing needs. For example, if you want to record your purchase transactions in debit credit mode, the same can be set in the F12 configurations.
Configuration options: Affect all the companies maintained in the same Tally ERP 9 directory and setting the configuration for one company will affect the configuration of other companies in that particular data directory. In Tally. ERP 9, the F12: Configurations are provided for Accounting, Inventory & printing options and are user-definable as per your requirements.
The F12: Configurations are applicable to all the companies residing in that Tally.ERP 9 Data Directory. F12: Configuration options vary depending upon the menu display. i.e., if you press F12: configure from Voucher entry screen, the respective F12: Configuration screen is displayed.
Go to Gateway of Tally - next - press F12: Configure The Configuration screen is displayed as shown
There are numerous settings available under various menus in the F12: Configuration screen, which may be configured for any additional information required to be entered during master creations, voucher entry and printing.
